Logo Design

Brief

The Engineering Department of the Uiversity of Edinburgh created a new engineering workshop for their students named 'Hudson Beare Engineering Makerspace'. They tasked me to develop a logo for the workshop. In reference to the famous Stevenson family of lighthouse engineers who went to the School of Engineering they imagined the logo to depict a Stevenson lighthouse.

Outcome

Since we already developed a medal together - also depicting the lighthouse, it made sense to incorporate the same lighthouse to create a link. I created four different logo layouts depending on the use. I also created an animated version of the logo.
