Ident & Trailer

Brief

The task was to create a visual identity consisting of a logo, an ident and a trailer to advertise the content and tone of the fictional channel ‘mood‘, with different sections to EXPLORE, UNDERSTAND & CREATE art and design. The key words for the brand identity are avantgarde, inspiring, artsy, sophisticated, modern and playful.

Thought Process and Outcome

The created identity is inspired by cubism and uses basic shapes and thin lines to form everything. It creates the illusion of an art and design universe that will be explored throughout the channel.
Both animations are underlined by self-created music and most elements flow to the next frame, newly arranging themselves into the next composition. It therefore appears coherent and suggests a strong visual language and atmosphere in an avantgarde style.
